Job Summary
Pirate Life is seeking a dynamic and adaptable Location Manager to oversee and enhance the execution of our immersive theatre and adventure programs across four cities in Ontario. This in person management role blends operational leadership, sales strategy, team management, and customer engagement to deliver unforgettable experiences while advancing our charitable mission.

Key Responsibilities
Staffing and Team Development
Recruit, train, and onboard team leads and seasonal staff for kids’ adventure cruises and evening escape programming.
Define team roles, establish responsibilities, and provide ongoing mentorship to ensure a high-performing team.
Design and implement training programs that prioritize safety, exceptional guest service, and artistic quality.
Lead and support site-specific managers, addressing daily operational challenges.
Guest Relations and Event Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries from April to November, managing bookings and customizing events for corporate, educational, and family groups.
Address guest concerns and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat engagement.
Sales Programming, Outreach, and Marketing
Oversee sales initiatives, ensuring timely follow-up with leads and thoughtful responses to inquiries.
Manage and promote accessibility programs, such as discounts and pay-what-you-can options, to meet charitable status obligations.
Collaborate with the CEO and staff to maximize bookings and achieve annual revenue and outreach goals.
Oversee Pirate Life’s social media platforms, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and strategic content is shared regularly to promote programming and grow community connections.
Operational Oversight
Act as the liaison with external contacts, including suppliers, leasing officers, and community partners.
Conduct site visits during the May–October season to supervise operations, ensure quality, and provide constructive feedback.
Track operational metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Strategic Collaboration
Partner with the CEO to align operations with Pirate Life’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
Develop creative strategies that enhance programming, build audience engagement, and strengthen community ties.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing teams in a multi-location, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a commitment to fostering strong relationships.
Availability to travel regularly across Ontario from May to October.
Background in theatre, tourism, sales, or event management is an asset.
Bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset.
