Where it all Began

I wouldn’t call myself an “artist” in the traditional sense, the paint brushes, canvases, pencils, it’s not my art.

My art, is you. It’s this, it’s finding a space for art to exist. It’s creating a world that brings art and culture to the front - I’m the caveat for the artist. Yea. that sounds ok.

Artists are what bring character, culture, story, beauty to a city. We’re all artists, just in our own way.

Traditional Artists - the actors, painters, sculptors etc have a hard go - they are often the highest educated and most underpaid of all professions. They have to constantly write grants, tell their story and convince a panel of their peers to fund their project over anothers - and the panels never have enough money.

With Art & Water we bring opportunity to artists, a one of a kind floating and ephemeral art gallery, just 1 seas on the water, 6 months and voila, new showings every year.

We pay artists. Alot. ($5000 for their gallery concept)

We hire artists. 20 of them. Every season. We train them, we get them outdoors, we connect them. We are them.
